Faculty of engineering.

Akwa Ibom State University Faculty of engineering has the following departments:

Akwa Ibom State University offers admission into their undergraduate engineering program through

UTME
DIRECT ENTRY.

  Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Is an examination conducted  by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

To gain admission to study at AKSU, You must meet the following UTME requirements.

Age: candidates seeking admission to study at Akwa Ibom State University are mandated to  be over 16 years of age by 1st of October in the year of admission.

Candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.

These also may include
Mathematics
Chemistry
Physics and so on.

Akwa Ibom State University Admission   Direct Entry requirement.

Interested persons to get admission to study Engineering in Akwa Ibom State University must have at least two  passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit pass in three (3) other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE. SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.

 

Three (3) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit pass in two (2) other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.

 

Two passes at merit level or above in two (2) recognized NCE, OND or HND subjects and at least three credit passes in other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings

You must meet the stipulated JAMB Cut-off Mark for Engineering at AKSU

or Direct Entry (DE). In addition to attaining the general required standard in UTME, candidates must satisfy the general University entry requirements as well as specific Faculty/School and Programmes requirements.

2) Anambra State University

Chukwuemeka Odumeju Ojukwu University formally known as   Anambra State University has a  Faculty of Engineering which is also devided into four departments.

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Elect / Elect Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

1) JAMB cut-off Mark for that year
2) Five Credit passes in your SSCE which may be WAEC, NECO Or NABTECH.

3) Ekiti State University.

Ekiti State University admission into the faculty of Engineering is open to all manner of persons in Nigeria and all over the world.

Admission to Study at ETSU is basically on merit. The admission process is in two ways.

UTME
Direct Entry.

UTME

Candidates seeking to study Engeeneraing at EKSU Must  possess 5 credits in SSC examination, GCE O/L or equivalent obtained in only one sitting, including
English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and must meet the  acceptable JAMB Cut-off Mark in the University Matriculation Examination (UME) and Post-UTME Examinations in these subjects as may be mandated by the institution.

(b)   Direct Entry

By Direct Entry, you are admitted into the second year class (200 L)

To qualify for this, you must have at least 5 (five) credit passes in SSC examination, GCE O/L , NECO or equivalent obtained in not more than one sitting, including English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and

(ii)   Obtained passes at the GCE ‘A’ level or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (pure mathematics, applied mathematics, or pure and applied mathematics). Candidates with A level passes in Mathematics and Physics and ‘O’ level pass in Chemistry may be admitted or

(iii)  Obtained National Diploma (ND) with at least Upper Credit in relevant field.

 4) Kwara State University (Kwasu)

Study Engineering at Kwara State University

Candidates seeking to study Engeeneraing at Kwasu Must  possess 5 credits in SSC examination, GCE O/L or equivalent obtained in only one sitting, including
English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and must meet the  acceptable JAMB Cut-off Mark in the University Matriculation Examination (UME) and Post-UTME Examinations in these subjects as may be mandated by the institution.

JAMB Cut-off Mark for Engineering at KWASU Is 200 and above.

5) Kebbi State University of Science and Technology.

Kebbi State University of Science and Technology is a state owned University situated at Kebbi State Nigeria.

Study Engineering at Kebbi State University.

Persons who wish to study Engeeneraing at Kebbi State University of Science and Technology are expected to   possess 5 credits in SSC examination, GCE O/L or equivalent obtained in only one sitting, including
English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and must meet the  acceptable JAMB Cut-off Mark in the University Matriculation Examination which may be 200 and above or however the management may feel.

6) Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

The Rivers State University of Science and Technology has a Faculty of science and technology.

The faculty start in 1980, during the primary days of the institution and has remained till date.

Rivers State University offers admission to candidates through JAMB UTME.

To qualify for admission to study Engineering in Rivers State University candidate must posses at least five credit passes in the relevant subjects which include

7.  Osun State University

College Science, Technology and Engineering.

Osun State department of Electrical Engineering is established under the College of Science, Engineering and Technology established in 2007/2008 academic session as part of the first phase of development of the University.

The department runs a 5-year programme, operating 2-semester course units system in its curriculum that leads to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
